Our Doctors
Dr. William Collins
Medical Director
Dr. William Collins received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from The Ohio State University and has served as a practicing veterinarian in Lincoln since 1986.
Dr. Collins demonstrated his bent for his chosen profession in a series of progressively more responsible positions at a Lincoln Veterinary clinic during his undergraduate years at the University of Nebraska. He continues to demonstrate his concern for animals by taking a leadership role in the issue of pet overpopulation by pioneering early-age spays and neuters in Lincoln and Lancaster County.
Dr. Collins and Dr. Fry have been married since 1986. They enjoy spending time with their 2 daughters and their families, especially their grandson, Easton.
In his spare time Dr. Collins enjoys gardening, travel, and golf.
Dr. Margarita Perez
Dr. Margarita Perez received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University. In 2009, she graduated from Iowa State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After taking care of her terminally ill mother, Dr. Perez started practicing emergency medicine and shelter medicine in 2011.
Dr. Perez is interested in general medicine, palliative care and feline medicine. She is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners.
Dr. Perez is married to her best friend, Hari, and they share their home with two black cats, a female named Nefertiti, and a male named Buckbeak (a.k.a. Dr. Buckbeak Jones). She enjoys spending time with her family, playing Words with Friends, and reading about the supreme court.
Our Veterinary Staff
Rochelle
Rochelle is our Office Manager as well as a talented technician. She graduated from Colby Community College with an associates degree and is a registered veterinary technician. She has been with Antelope Creek since 1994.
Rochelle’s husband Calvin works at UNL and they have 2 children. Their daughter, Jessalyn, is an agriculture education teacher in Shickley, NE. Their son, Garret, lives in Brooking, SD with his wife and their children; Payton, Cash and Finley. Rochelle and Calvin have 3 dogs as well as a small herd of cattle to keep them busy!
Brandy
Brandy grew up in Staplehurst, NE. She now lives in Lincoln with her two dogs Zelda and Roxy. Brandy has a strong passion for animals and loves working with them every day.
In her free time, Brandy enjoys taking her dogs for walks, reading, bowling, and shooting.
Megan
Megan was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. She graduated from UNL in 2017 with her Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science. In May of 2023, she graduated from Northeast Community College with her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology.
She has an interest in animal dentistry and is wanting to further her knowledge and education in that aspect of veterinary medicine.
Megan and her husband, Joe, have 3 cats; Brie, Brody and Bugsy and 3 dogs; Lou and Fergie. Megan enjoys traveling and spending her free time with her family and friends.
Jodi
Jodi grew up in Tecumseh, NE. After graduating high school, she moved to Lincoln where she currently lives with her husband John. They have 3 daughters together as well as 1 stepdaughter and 3 stepsons.
She enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her senior boxer, Wigglebutt. Jodi has been in the pet grooming business for over 20 years.
Sarah
Sarah grew up in Thurston, NE. She is a student at the University of Nebraska pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science on the pre-vet track and is minoring in Nebraska Beef Industry Scholars. She plans to graduate spring of 2023 and continue on to vet school.
Sarah’s family has 2 dogs, Yeller and Otis. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
Makenzie
Makenzie graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Animal Science. She plans to continue her education in veterinary school after her undergraduate career. Her goal is to work as a companion animal veterinarian, with an interest in pursuing a board-certified specialty.
In her free time, Makenzie enjoys reading, baking, photography, exploring new places, and spending time with family, friends, and her German Shepherd, Koda.
Lauren
Lauren is originally from Austin, Texas but moved to Nebraska in 2018. She has an older cat named Ta-Molly. She is a certified vet assistant through Penn Foster as well as Fear Free certified. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, and kayaking. As well as learning to play the keyboard and crafting.
Daryn
Daryn was born and raised in southern California. She graduated from Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in 2003. She and her husband have 3 daughters. They have a Dogo Argentino named Zeus and a Rottweiler named Tyr. They love spending time outside and hanging out with their friends and family.
Grace
Grace is currently a senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying animal science with an equine option. After graduation in May, she plans to go to vet school and open her own mixed animal practice. Grace is originally from Longmont, Colorado and enjoys spending time with animals and her family as well as riding horses in her free time and skiing.
Bry
Born and raised in Lincoln, NE, Bry is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinary technician. A proud dog mom to Nyx, she enjoys spending her free time with friends, diving into a good book, and riding horses. With a passion for animals and a love for the outdoors, Bry is dedicated to making a positive impact in the veterinary field.
Gabrielle
Gabrielle is currently a student at Southeast Community College studying to be a large animal veterinarian. Once she has graduated she hopes to open her own practice. Gabrielle is originally from Loveland Colorado, but moved to Nebraska to be closer to family. In her free time she enjoys riding horses, painting, and spending time with her family.
